Accessibility statement

The Conference of Colleges Secretariat has sought to create an accessible web presence for the Conference that will allow members of the public and members of the collegiate University community to access helpful information and resources. These pages aim to meet a Level AA standard of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

All pages on the Conference of Colleges  website should validate as HTML 5 and use Cascading Style Sheets.

Skip links and navigation

A skip link is provided on each page of this website to facilitate keyboard-only navigation.

Links out of context

We have made efforts to ensure that link text makes sense out of context and that it accurately describes the pages it points to.  Keyboard only users can use the tab key on your keyboard (as well as your mouse) to move from section to section and link to link.

Making changes to your operating system

In its separate Accessibility Statement, the University of Oxford provides links to advice from the BBC, for Microsoft users, for Apple users, and for Linux users on how to make full use of accessibility settings in browsers and operating systems .

PDF files

This website makes some of its information available using Portable Document Format (PDF).  Adobe Reader is available for download free of charge from the Adobe website, and the most recent versions of this software include features that make the reading of PDFs more accessible for visually impaired and motion-impaired users.
