Our project has developed four modules of resources for colleges on key topics in diverse catering provision. All of these resources are available to you for free on this page, and include:
This module provides an easy to understand introduction to diets followed by observant religious diners. It focuses on the following religions: Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Sikhism, Jainism, and Rastafarianism.
This module introduces different modes of ethical eating, including veganism and vegetarianism, and ways to help ensure your catering includes a balanced meal for people who have these requirements.
This module introduces the wider world of allergens and intolerances and provides exercises on how to deal with diners who have multiple religious, ethical, and/or therapeutic requirements.
This module provides an exciting introduction to new ingredients and diets, and the surprising history behind their introduction in the UK.
